In How to Read the Bible, our adult Sunday School Course, we will explore different methods of biblical interpretation and learn how to apply them to the text. We will explore ancient history and will examine the literary forms and structures of the Bible. We will also look at how the Bible has been interpreted throughout history and discuss its relevance for our lives today.

We’re excited to welcome Lauren Ritchie to the Soul Sanctuary staff team for a six month term as our Connections Director. As Connections Director, Lauren will oversee our Sunday morning hospitality ministries, creative ministries, communications, and event management.

A sabbatical is an intentional time away from the everyday responsibilities of Christian ministry that is specifically aimed at reinvigorating and renewing the mind and heart of the pastor through rest, study, writing, reflection, and travel.

Our desire is to see people know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference. We believe that we are more effective in accomplishing this mission when we train and equip our young people to participate in all areas of church life.
