Is the Soul Internship for You?
Can we take time to acknowledge the fact that life is not a race? The way our world is trending makes us believe that by the time we reach any milestone in life we already need to know what comes next. This line of thinking can get us caught in pursuing our own plans instead of the plans that God has for us in Christ Jesus.
The call of every Christian is not to know what comes next, but to first and foremost know God by submitting ourselves to following Jesus. The purpose of the Soul Internship Program is to develop and empower young people who are passionate about Jesus and desire to follow Him and learn about the call that He has for their lives. Our desire to cultivate knowledge, character and devotion to God in all of our students, whether they end up in pastoral ministry, finance, teaching, the trades or any other career choice.
The Soul Sanctuary Internship Program is a 10-month immersive experience, designed to provide an introduction to theological education, experience in local church ministry, team building adventures and both local and global missions experience. All of these experiences are framed in the context of the local church, facilitating intentional relationships between the intern team and the staff of Soul Sanctuary.
Whether you’re looking for a gap year program, or you desire to set aside a year to grow in your relationship with Jesus, we believe that throughout your time in the internship you will gain a firm foundation and a clear understanding of who God has called you to be in the community in which you find yourself.
