The church is a community of believers tasked with the mandate of walking with people through all seasons of life. Consequently, we have a series of specified support groups for people in life's different stages. Each group is open to the local community at large.
Hurts, Habits and Hangups
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12 step program for those who are ready to embark on a journey of real and lasting change. By learning and living out the principles of recovery found in scripture, we are changed into the people Christ wants us to be; experiencing life fully, in healthy relationships with others, the church and God.
Celebrate Recovery runs every Thursday at 7pm in the Student Centre.
Divorce Peer Support Group
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences, while teaching you practical recovery tips. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
Cancer Support Group
The Sunroom is a group of dedicated people who are committed to listening and praying with individuals who are personally walking on their own cancer journey or for anyone who is walking alongside a loved one. It is an open and relaxed atmosphere for the sick and hurting. It is a place to share and be prayed for and most importantly to pray along with others. We strongly encourage cancer survivors and those that have walked loved ones through this to get involved because we know, “you get it”.
