SOUL KIDS is for children in Nursery, Preschool and Grades K – 5. Soul Kids meets while the adults are in the main gatherings. Children remain with their parents for a corporate time of worship, and are then dismissed for a fun hour of carefully-planned, interactive, age-appropriate activities–singing, Bible lessons, drama, videos, crafts, memory work, and more…
1) Soul Kids Nursery – for Babies, and 1 and 2 year olds
The church nursery is an important aspect of our children’s ministry and is the cooperative effort of parents and volunteers. This dedicated team of volunteers has one of the most important jobs in our church. They provide care for the youngest members of our church each Sunday during the 9:09 and 11:11 gatherings. They help to lay a firm foundation of faith in the lives of the babies and toddlers. When children are held, cuddled, fed, talked to, and played with, they learn that church is a friendly place where they are loved. We are excited to have the Nursery children graduate to Soul Kids Preschool the first Sunday back in September of each year.
2) Soul Kids Preschool – for 3 and 4 year old children
Preschool seeks to partner with parents in nurturing the first crucial years by teaching basic Bible truths and providing a loving environment at the church that reflects the enduring love of our Father in heaven. On Sunday mornings, we teach God’s Word through Bible stories, singing, crafts and group interaction. We are excited to have the Preschool children graduate to Soul Kids K-5 the first Sunday back in September of each year.
3) Soul Kids K – 5 – for children enrolled in Kindergarten to Grade 5
Sunday mornings, kids learn through drama, worship, and large group activities that a relationship with Jesus Christ is viable and exciting. Soul Kids K – 5 also includes a small group time in which children are led by adult shepherds, discovering what it means to go deep into the Bible and learn how to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives! Children experience activities in their small group that build friendships between the children, between the children and the small group leaders, and between the children and their Maker. All children have the same large group teaching time but divide into grade levels for small group time.
