Established at Soul Sanctuary in September 2005, Wee College is a lively, colourful and fun program that teaches 4 and 5 year-old children the precious and timeless truths of the Bible simply and clearly. The 10 divisions of the Bible are colour-coded, and those colours are used very methodically as teaching points from week to week. Designed to be developmentally appropriate, our unique classroom segments are short and fast-paced. Repetition, variety, songs and body movement are effective tools that promote ease of learning. An impressive amount of Scripture memorization is just one of our successful outcomes.
Week by week, the children discover God as our awesome Creator, Heavenly Father, loving Shepherd and faithful Friend. Prayer and praise become natural as the children begin to understand that we can talk to God “anytime, anywhere, about anything”, and that He is always listening.
Each classroom is led by a team of caring, committed leaders who love children and have a passionate belief in the effectiveness of our Wee College program to lay a firm faith foundation as we “grow children for God.”
Our Tuesday morning classes run from 9:15-11:00. Our year consists of two 10-week terms, beginning in September and January. Registrations for September are accepted beginning in February; class size is limited to 24 children.”
